Bright futures are on the horizon for Dolma, Tsultrim and Jamyang as they enter the vocational training school. Dolma and Tsultrim are training to be chefs and Jamyang is to be a Wireman (Electrician). Jamyang's English has improved significantly and everybody is healthy and in good spirits.

We want to congratulate Lobsang Choenden one of the main Tibetans who appeared in TIBET: MURDER IN THE SNOW on being recently accepted as a refugee on humanitarian grounds in Switzerland.
Lobsang will soon be joined by his wife and 2 young children. We are so pleased that the Swiss authorities have supported Lobsang and his family and know he will find a prosperous future amongst the high Alps of Europe.

After a successful couple of screenings at the recent Banff Mountain Festival this month, Tibet: Murder in the Snow has been selected as part of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour.
The World Tour goes to 30 countries every year. A selection of films from the programme are chosen to screen at each participating venue, creating hundreds of individually tailored programmes shown all over the world.

Tibet: Murder in the Snow continues its long-lasting success in festivals across the globe. We are very excited to anounce two new screenings for the film at the Banff Mountain Festival in Canada and the Home Planet Festival of New York in the USA.
The film is showing as part of "Daytime Screening Programme A" at the Banff Mountain Festival. The festival is a nine-day celebration of mountain culture with art, film, literature, talks and more. "Daytime Screening Programme A" in which Tibet: Murder in the Snow is the second film, screens on Saturday 6 November and Sunday 7 November at 9:00am. The film has also been named as a winner of Best Documentary Feature in the Home Planet Film Festival of New York. This festival focuses on films that tell stories about what is happening in the world around us, especially seeking "films and film works that display international, human and global divides throughout the world."

At the recent Home Planet Festival of New York, held last month, Tibet: Murder in the Snow was awarded the honour of Best Documentary Feature of the festival. This is a wonderful achievement indeed as the film was shown as part of a programme jam-packed with fantastic, socially conscious films investigating a wide range of global issues.

Last weekend the film screened at Awareness Fest in California, USA. This exciting festival focuses on films which educate, entertain and raise awareness of issues that affect the world around us.
