What are the Chinese afraid of?
MESSAGE
That this brutal incident happened in front of and witnessesd by several people is a perfect example of the callous attitude of the Chinese Army. Did the soldiers think no one would know what they had done? The soldiers had nothing to fear from the Tibetans trying to escape the inhuman conditions in Tibet. They had no weapons and only wanted to get to India to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Thank you for bring this film to the whole world. Bo Rangzen

Tibet Will Be Free
MESSAGE
Chinese communists have created a prison camp where once a free people lived.
Before the CHinese invasion capital punishment was outlawed, now china kills more people than the rest of the world combined.
China's communists will do anything to stay in power, they will not last Tibet and the Chinese people themselves will breath the free air of liberty. Regimes like the CCP will not last.

Powerful film
MESSAGE
I saw the film yesterday at the Hot Springs Doc Film Fest. It is very good, compelling. I spent a month in China last year with a large portion of my time in Tibet. Seeing the images of Lhasa, the Himalaya and Katmandu brought back a flood of memories. I made it to Everest Base Camp while I was there and I hiked the Annapurna Circuit while I was in Nepal.

The people of Tibet are so peaceful and wonderful. They carry on their lives with a lot of dignity and grace despite the ever present Chinese army posted throughout Lhasa and the roads south of there. I hope that this film brings about changes in how the Chinese government treat the Tibetans. I can always hope.

PayPal is a BAD CHOICE...
MESSAGE
...And by the way, I would like to buy the DVD and show it in China, but PayPal is a bad choice as they cheat people and do not accept all CCs, from all countries. Consider adding at least one more payment gateway, like 2checkout, or Plimus, etc. This should be shown in China, even if underground!... I am accessing the internet from China via a proxy because otherwise I would not be able to be here, as this site, YouTube, FaceBook, etc., are all blocked. If/when a site speaks about China, Tibet, Human Rights, and is not pro Chinese gov., they block it!

When will we say IT'S ENOUGH?
MESSAGE
The world is watching, and the world is allowing for this sort of thing to happen, not only in China, but everywhere. Until an effective boycott is in place, until foreign governments stop bowing to China and accepting everything the Chinese gov. does, and keep reaching for cheap labor, China will continue to kill Tibetans, abuse the man on the street, including other Chinese (Han), and corruption will keep growing. China has only the power we, the rest of the international community give them, and we are giving them this power, because of greed. China would collapse if an effective boycott was in place, but of course, multinationals don't care, politicians don't care, as long as the money keeps flowing, as long as their own pockets get filled, their campaigns subsidized, etc. If you really want to make a difference, yes, make movies like this, denounce it, but above all, boycott China and make sure others do too: buy no products from China, buy no products from companies who have their products manufactured in China, ask your congressmen to do same and call for same, expel China from international organizations, ask for reciprocity in EVERYTHING, both on a political and human level, when it comes to China, and get politicians in the USA, UK, France, Australia, etc., to stop serving China and behaving like puppets, because for as long as these lackeys will be in office, China will continue to do this sort of thing, as will the USA in Iraq, etc. etc. etc. It is ALL connected... the soldier may well be Chinese, the finger on the trigger too, the bullet may have been Made in China, but the murderers, the true murderers, are the international community, the politicians, the pro-new world order clique.

TITLE
The Tibetan cause.
MESSAGE
If Tibetans were united then there's no way the Chinese could do what they're doing in Tibet. There's a lot of division, many take bribes, some remember the inequities of the old system and are afraid because the Chinese tell them that things would return to this is they weren't in Tibet. I support a free Tibet with a focus on the depth of Tibetan culture, religion and caring for the environment.

Unfortunately, I do not see that the Dalai Lama's middle way will ever work. Tibet has been looted beyond what even most Tibetans know about. Hundreds of tons of gold and silver were taken from the monasteries prior to the cultural revolution and melted down in Beijing. This was part of Tibet's national treasure, and it belonged to all Tibetans, not just monks and nuns. The Chinese are focusing on breaking down the system and assimilating Tibetans into Chinese ways. Lhasa, with its brothels, young Tibetan women working as prostitutes, cheap amusement parks, tacky shops, etc, is shameful and should be a slap in the face to all Tibetans.

The so-called "middle way" will lead to the extinction of Tibetan culture, language, potentially even Tibetan Buddhism, at least in its purist form. If you don't think so, ask the native peoples of what is now the United States of America. There were 500 tribes speaking 300 languages prior to the European invasion. By the time Tibet is fully open to the world most areas will look Chinese, it's already happening. The initial move to break Tibet up into pieces and merge Tibetan territory into preexisting Chinese provinces was a move that only convolutes matters even more. When speaking of Tibet most people no longer know exactly what Tibet one is speaking. The Tibet defined by the Chinese is the generally accept view because people don't know all the facts.

The power of truth will not save you in the so-called human paradigm because there's no truth in it, only relative truth, and relative facts, that are endlessly argued over. If you really want to save Tibet or a free Tibet you must fight for it, you must unite inside Tibet, unite outside Tibet and formulate strategies and plans for taking your country back. You are not sacrificing your life for this cause, only a life form, you'll be back in a better place, a free place as a result of your integrity.

The Dalai Lama is wrong on this entire point. A person cannot comprehend what they have failed to realize on their own. Thus, talking to the Chinese will go nowhere. They are invested in defending their fixed position and cannot afford to see reality, as they would have to admit so many wrongs, so many atrocities, even ordinary Chinese who have supported the authorities would have to admit they were misguided. It's just not going to happen, as humans have too much pride and shame, and would rather be dead than wrong.
